Overview: Cardinal Wiseman is a secondary school in Coventry and part of the Romero Catholic Academy. Alongside their pupils, the school invests in its building to create a positive and welcoming working environment.

Details:

• Assessment: The existing toilet block was outdated and did not meet the current needs of students and staff.
• Design and Planning: FPM Group reconfigured the outdated toilet block to create two separate washrooms: one unisex block for adults and one for female students. For the adults, the design included two unisex cubicles, each self-contained with its own hand basin and hand drying facilities. Although the reconfiguration reduced the space of the existing toilet block, the new design maximised functionality and privacy.
• Implementation: The project involved a complete overhaul of the existing facilities, including new fixtures, improved lighting, and modern finishes to enhance the overall aesthetics and functionality.

Outcome: The upgraded washrooms now provide a modern, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students and staff, aligning with current educational standards and promoting a positive atmosphere within the school.
